Fish Spa Outing

Have you ever had fish sucking and eating your feet? The norm is that ,we as humans, cook (or not *think sushi*) our fish and eat them but this time around, those little swimming flippers-thingy are actually devouring us (nope... not piranhas..)!

Introducing the garra rufa fishes :) They are basically combfishes and will eat dead skin cells leaving healthy skin to grow... In some places, they are also known as doctor fishes.

Well, I do think my feet felt smoother after dipping it in the aquarium full of garra rufa fishes. I do wonder, however, if that feeling was psychological.

It was really ticklish initially and I just couldn't stop giggling and laughing :P Couldn't even put my feet back into the aquarium but Lay Ling encouraged me (thanks!) and I thought I shouldn't waste my $$ and also an opportunity of trying this out with my friends.

We are all first-timers!

Itching hands....

Can't wait to find a little time on my hand to start crafting a bit again. Well, technically speaking, I am still crafting ... it's just that this project is a little big and I have not found the time to other things (not that I'm complaining, though... I am happy doing what I'm doing).

That and the fact that I'm given more responsibilities in my day-job. Good thing, right?

*with great power comes great responsibilities* (?) hehehe.....

I will probably share some WIP (work-in-progress) photos of my craft soon. I am quite delighted at how it's turning out :)

Went to have lunch with the BF sometime last week to this quaint Japanese restaurant in Sri Hartamas.

They serve quite good Bento at reasonable price :) Didn't manage to snap any pictures of the food but I did a do a double-take and snap the pictures below :

Saw a girl push the door open ever so slightly just in case ..... hehe

First bouquet ever...

This is the first time in our relationship that my BF bought me flowers!! We're the practical kind. Flowers are very pretty, especially roses, but they do decay and that's a bit sad.

Anyway, I was really happy when he presented them to me... hehe.. it's the first time he's done this, you know. Extremely rare!

Thank You Card

Made this card on request from a friend as a gift to a mutual friend who's going to work in Singapore. Well, I'm not sure if she likes butterflies and if pastel is her thing but somehow the idea to make this card just popped into my head.

*this card isn't really me, either but it's good to try something that is out of the norm, right?*
