Who says you have to be in Japan to see sakuras bloom?
Saw these really love cherry blossoms when I first arrived in LA. I was very fortunate to see them, though. They withered the week after I captured them on film....
We were taking a walk behind our new apartment and these lovely sakuras lined the sidewalk. I couldn't resist but stop and take pictures of them and I'm glad I did.
