There are some days that I can't think of what to blog about.... but then I have cards to share... so, what do I do? I just post the pictures of the cards first and ya, well.. that's about it :P

I embossed the polka dots on the cardstock to create texture and add interest and then added the leaves on :) The Happy Birthday on the 'banner' is handwritten by me.. could it have fooled you? :)

Was de-stressing by getting crafty during the weekend. It's really cool spending time at my craft table and just craft away. I think I'm getting faster at assembling a card :P  Or maybe I just have some ideas and inspirations... I don't know... sometimes it's ideas galore and at other times, I just stare blankly at my tools & papers.

It's Chinese New Year in another few days' time. Time passes really fast! At first it was New Year's and then it's February already...

Chinese New Year falls on Valentine's Day this year... Interesting, right? I guess the lovebirds gets to kill two birds with one stone celebrating both events?

I'm not sure if I'm still in time for the PTI Day 5 Challenge but I'm posting this up anyway :) The challenge was to create a card using the Emboss Resist technique. It's a technique that I love too. Creates texture and adds interest to the card. 

It's a really pretty technique, really... I used Text Style II for the background and Fancy Flourishes for the emboss resist. Distressed the edges as well to make it look more 'vintage'.

Another card with the fluffy paper flowers.... I was trying to put them in an envelope earlier... haha.. was having a bit of a problem stuffing them in but I manage to put them in nicely after a few tries :)

Am in the process of making more cards to send out... hope I won't be too late in sending them out... Ok.. it's almost 2 am now. I think I better get to bed and finish up on the cards later today. I love staying up at night cos it's nice and cooling! Afternoons are just too hot, this part of the world... it was scorching today which makes it the perfect laundry day.... but because of the humidity, I'm all hot and sticky! yuck...

Thank God for air-conditioning.. am gonna wrap myself up under the blankie now....

Loving these paper flowers I learned to make :) I'm going to be making a bunch of Valentine's card for people I know :) Maybe mini cards... maybe the standard sized ones.. I'm not sure yet :)

I'm getting kinda sleepy... Been feeling very lethargic again... lethargy spells that comes and goes... Hope that by next week, I'll be all skippy and energetic again :P

This is another upside down umbrella card :) and this concludes all the designs I will be having for this year's Valentine's Day. You can start ordering the cards now so that I can make reproduce the ones you want as I only made 1 piece each so far :)

I've been having fun making Valentine's day cards so far... am going back to the 'usual' routine of making birthday, thank you and cards for other occasions :)

An overturned umbrella with lotsa hearts in it.... for your valentine :)

I was so happy when I thought of how I wanted to use my umbrella to contain the hearts.. when the idea popped into my mind.. There's actually glimmer mist on the card but I doubt you can see it from the photo. It's really quite pretty when it glitters ever so slightly :)
