Today is my last day in my current organization :) Feeling a lot of emotions at the moment. Gonna be missing a lot of people whom I have had the close relationship of working with. Gonna be stepping into the unknown soon. Wish me the best of luck!

But before that, I'm gonna sip & relax for a bit... a short bit.

Have you been thinking of me?

"Have you been thinking of me? Well, I have been thinking about you. Oh, how you escape my grasp.... how time passes fleetingly when you're around."

I fussy-cut the flower and pieced two buttons together, tied a knot with baker's twine and stuck them on the flower :) Love the soft colours on this one..... The flower kinda just pops because of the colour contrast, no? :)

Lack of posts

I know I've been missing in action for a bit again..... not posting everyday or alternate days... sometimes I feel that I need to blog everyday and it feels kinda weird if I didn't but sometimes I have to tell myself that it's ok. I've been crafting. Not as much as I would like but I did. I was just too lazy to upload the photos into the laptop and edit them :P

yeeeshhh... I've been a lazy girl. sowwweeeeee.......

Anyway, I made this card, last week, I think. It's a boy birthday card... something I don't make very often. Paper pieced the car. Blinged the headlights and stamped my own 'patterned' cardstock.... lol... I was on a frenzy and stamped quite a few card base with patterns... :) The card in the previous entry was one.. haha...

So, what do you think of my little boy card? I really hope to make more manly cards but always seem to forget and proceed to make girlie ones... Well, maybe cos girlie cards allow for lace and blings and flowers... :P

Doily love :)

A friend commissioned me to make a card for her friend who just opened her 2nd pastry outlet. It's called Delectable and I looked through their blog..... her pastries are a-w-e-s-o-m-e!!!! That is one talented girl (and her elves... so she calls them).

I decided that since she's into baking (cos she owns a pastry outlet? duh... hehe), I will use my mousey image from Penny Black... and the doily that I took back from Aussie land... this is imported doily, ok? ... hehe... I added the doily to place further emphasis on baking.

*sidetrack : I love doilies... where can I get them in KL?*

Love the little mouse stirring at the mixture.... I popped up one of the cupcakes to give it more dimension and glossed up the cherries, cupcakes and the mouse to make them stand out :) Can't seem to get enough of glossed up images. I just like them that way....

Background is stamped with Polka Dot basics II and Distressed Stripes... added lace and blinged it up with pearls for added ooomph....

I must say, this is another one of my favourite cards so far.... what say you? :)

Your couch or mine?

Actually I don't mind either.... to the statement above, that is :) I would love to just sink myself into a couch with a good book in hand and a cup of coffee. Preferably if my coffee can stay warm at all times.

I drew the heart and the swirls, coloured it and glossed it up... love the glossed up effect. Replaced the cushion for the couch with buttons... something different to 'spice' up the card :)

Hot air balloons

I received my Papertrey order yesterday! Well, yesterday was a happy mail day for me!!! First I collected my Simply Handmade magazines parcel from the post office and then headed down to the Courier depot to collect my PTI parcel. Yes, they have separated the locations to collect parcels, which I think is dumb cos I have to drive to 2 separate places but I'm still pretty happy cos I get to read the mags and play with my new stamp sets!!! :D

And I got another happy news..... I won one of Shimelle's online class. Yippee!!! I've been contemplating to sign up or not cos I'm out of budget for this month and could not be happier that I won a giveaway! The class is called "Love your Pictures, Love your Pages" and I do believe I'm going to have a lot of fun! :)

Ok.... this is a long post.... sorry for the rambling on..... here's a card I made based on Card Pattern's Sketch #70. Using one of my new stamp sets... Loving this set to the bits!

Don't you just love the hot air balloons? I coloured some parts in eventhough I stamped it on patterned paper, just for fun. Oh, I'm enjoying my baker's twine too.... gosh, I love them. Been looking for places to buy them for the longest time now :)
