It's technically still the 30th here as I'm typing this but I guess by the time it's posted it should have entered the 31st... drats... LOL.... I've been pretty busy lately and I guess it slipped my mind that I have to write a Cardabilities post today! silly, forgetful me >.<


And to top it off, there was a member event at a LSS and I was there for most of the afternoon. Managed to meet up with Shirl before that and it was great catching up with her! :)

Been a while

I actually have quite a number of cards that I've made but have not shared. I've been tied up a lot recently and had to neglect blogging.... haven't taken part in as many challenges as I wanted to as well. Keep telling myself that I have to loosen up but it's so hard to do. I guess I'm kinda high-strung sometimes :P

Love always.... not the simplest thing to do all the time considering some of the people we deal with daily in our lives but Love is the greatest commandment of all.

I made this card based on CardPattern's Sketch 76... my oh my... how fast time flies...  76 sketches already! This is smaller than the standard cards I used to make... well, for fun, I'm going to make cards that are of different sizes once in a while. Shake things up a little :)

I feel sad for a person who used to be close to me. He seems to trust one particular person too much not knowing that the person spoke ill of him to others. She is always smiley and nice to him but towards others, she's just aloof. If only this space truly is one where I can reflect my feelings in privacy, I would write more but I can't.... this is never meant to be a private blog.... it's not for me to pour out my thoughts but rather share my cards :) So, I'm gonna shut up now.... :P

Cooler, chilly air

You know what? I am down with stuffy, leaky nose, sorethroat & headache..... not a good combination at all.... sigh.... My mum said it's probably due to change in weather after my holidays but, I didn't get sick when I was there!!!! :(

If I'm so sensitive to change in weather, shouldn't I get sick when I was there too? It was so cold & chilly compared to hot, sweaty Malaysia.... boo hoo..... Maybe I'm more suited to stay in cold, chilly weather... HAHAHA.... that's me dreaming :P

Well, enough of my boring story... Here's my take on Card Pattern's Sketch #68. I stamped butterfly images on Pink Paislee's paper. I like that :) I glossed up the butterfly image as the focal point too... :)

It's been a while since I took part in challenges, well, the last couple of weeks to be precise :) Some of you who has been following my blog would have already known that I went on a holiday (yeah!)...

I'm back and this is my card based on 2S4Y's sketch. I know at least one sista who would love this card.... wanna make a guess? no prizes, though :P

The owlie is from Unity Stamps (found it at my LSS... to my surprise!) and I *think* my mojo is slowly returning... I've been lazy on the creating side.

woot woot.... I'm a day late for Cardabilities Sketch #2!!! gosh..... am so sorry. It's May 1st now. Labour's Day but there's no replacement leave for today's holiday.. boo hoo >.<

I Love you, Rain or Shine

It's a Public Holiday today... and I really need this break.... but too bad. I have some things that I need to do that can't wait. So there goes my holiday, I guess :(

Made this card last week. I normally try to make my cards during the weekends now. That's when I have a little bit more time on my hands :)

I stamped the cardstock with polka dot in white ink and also inked up the sides of the cards so that it has a vintage look. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey, I think... one of their older paper pads... I hoard too many paper pads... SIGH. I am GOOD at hoarding, k? HAHAHAHAH....

Another card with the fluffy paper flowers.... I was trying to put them in an envelope earlier... haha.. was having a bit of a problem stuffing them in but I manage to put them in nicely after a few tries :)

Am in the process of making more cards to send out... hope I won't be too late in sending them out... Ok.. it's almost 2 am now. I think I better get to bed and finish up on the cards later today. I love staying up at night cos it's nice and cooling! Afternoons are just too hot, this part of the world... it was scorching today which makes it the perfect laundry day.... but because of the humidity, I'm all hot and sticky! yuck...

Thank God for air-conditioning.. am gonna wrap myself up under the blankie now....

Loving these paper flowers I learned to make :) I'm going to be making a bunch of Valentine's card for people I know :) Maybe mini cards... maybe the standard sized ones.. I'm not sure yet :)

I'm getting kinda sleepy... Been feeling very lethargic again... lethargy spells that comes and goes... Hope that by next week, I'll be all skippy and energetic again :P

An overturned umbrella with lotsa hearts in it.... for your valentine :)

I was so happy when I thought of how I wanted to use my umbrella to contain the hearts.. when the idea popped into my mind.. There's actually glimmer mist on the card but I doubt you can see it from the photo. It's really quite pretty when it glitters ever so slightly :)

buried in work & reading....

It's Sunday again... the weekend seems to always past fleetingly.... Been burying myself in work and then in reading Eclipse as well. It's hard to tear myself away from the book to get some work done. I've gotten so lazy to even exercise... sigh... losing all my muscle mass. It's all skin and bones now :(

The background patterned is hand-stamped. Loving the new PTI stamp set... :) I love stamp sets that allow me to make my own 'patterned' paper... LOL. Of course, I still buy a lot of patterned papers... which is a problem... cos I hoard them all.. sigh... I really need to take them out and use soon. But I love them so much I want to keep them.. notice the dilemma? :P

Gonna get buried in my book again.... I think I'll be moving on to Breaking Dawn sometime next week.. sigh... then I will have 'withdrawal syndrome' because there's no more books after the 4th one... help? ~~~

Crazy cat morning

Happy Saturday morning, people!

Well, it's not so early anymore but hey, it's still technically morning :P Was having a bit of cat trouble earlier..... My cat has been quite a problem lately.... Very temperamental and biting us a lot. I never used to have scars on my hands but I do now. He gets really fierce too. I wonder what's his problem. He gets wet food sometimes, has a nice cozy place to stay and we really love hugging him... it's just he who doesn't want to be hugged :( I do hope someone can teach us what to do... make him stop biting.

Anyway, here's another one of my Valentine's Day cards :) Another one or two more to go, I think.... and then there's some designs that I want to repeat... :)

I was chatting with my colleague the other day and told her about scheduled posting and how it made blogging 'easier' sometimes :) At least I can blog in the middle of the night and set it to post much later... or write a few blogs when I've got a little more time on my hands and then have them post as and when I want them to?

I think I posted it without writing anything cos I forgot about it. You see, this was on scheduled posting too.... I think I must have uploaded the pictures and forgot about the 'writing' part, thinking that I'll do it later... and ... I... forgot :P

I've been preoccupied with New Moon. Didn't know a romance story book can keep me glued to it and not wanting to let go until I am finish with it. I never liked romance books.... due to my 'bad' experience with one years ago... It was all mushy and well, TOO mushy. I thought all romance story books are like that and swore them off. I was more into adventure, mystery, ancient histories kinda books anyway.... so, of course I had my apprehension about Twilight and the whole series.... To my surprise, they are quite good :) I am at the last few pages of New Moon now... gonna start Eclipse real soon...

*gasp* I thought I could control myself and put down the book when needed but I guess not! :P

All the cards you see posted this week and end of last week were made way earlier :P Thank God for scheduled post! :P

The 'patterned' papers are stamped with my PTI stamps, which were detained by the customs sometime back :P I'm glad, eventhough it was a troublesome affair to call them, drive an hour to reach the customs, got asked to go from counter to counter....  I finally got my stamps. And they all arrived safely :)

Well, my heart smiles when the package was opened... like how it smiles when I receive snail mails. I reminisce the times when I ran out of the house to check the postbox each time I hear the postman pass by... and how happy I was whenever I find a letter with my name on it :) Those were the days of pen-pals :) 

I wonder if people nowadays still have pen-pals....

A friend of mine is rushing me to post up all the pictures of the Valentine Cards I made... :P I was thinking of posting one a day and well, I guess I'll never have ALL the pictures to post up cos I will still be making more even after I posted up all that I've made now.... cos, there's no such thing as a 'collection', I guess... well, not for me? :P

So, what I *can* do is to post a card a day... I think I'll run out of cards to post by next week :P Then I'll have to make more... which is good :)
