There's always a first time....

..... for everything!

This is the first time I'm combining a challenge/sketch! :) The sketch is from Card Patterns and the picture inspiration is from The Pink Elephant. Oh, it's also the first time I'm participating in The Pink Elephant's sketches :)

Update! : I just realized this card fulfills another challenge! This time from Card-a-licious :) They said to use at least 2 flowers, the colour blue and ribbon.

Few days ago, my friend asked me to make a card to cheer someone she knows. I thought of making something with very sweet colours and decided to print the words, 'Happy Thoughts' to hopefully invoke some cheeriness to her :)

I actually stamped a flourish image on the blue centre cardstock with versamark dazzle but my camera just doesn't seem to be able to capture it! It actually looks very beautiful cos it glitters ever so slightly and you can see the flourish peeking out through it :)

Had a wonderful day today. Hopefully I'll be able to accomplish more tomorrow!! :)
